How to register, that is the question. Winnie never seemed to manage it.

I failed twice.
I was never sent the magic email.
Actually I’m rather happy with being “active” but not a member.
I’m an illegal alien on welfare.

Frothers emails are sent in "stealth" mode, and undoubtedly ended up in your spam file. That's where mine was.

Yup. Frankly, I just got tired of answering the spam filter questions. Someone impersonating me finally pushed me to undergo the ordeal.

The dumbest thing I saw in terms of impersonation was someone impersonating meafter I created an account and logged in.

Really can’t be arsed. I’m literally too lazy to bother. Yes

In Wales we get to vote for:
Unitary Authority Councillors - local government (formerly county council) 42%
Welsh Government Assembly Members - Welsh Government Turnout 45%
UK Members of Parliament - Turnout 68%
EU MEPs Turnout 37.1%

(We also get to vote for fucking cowboy Police Commissioners so we can have Bat Signals)

The Yanks amazement at the fact we have more than one election is an odd one. They not only have elections every two years for Congress, and spent about 18 months campaigning for them, but it's a federal republic - they have state (and county) elections too. Never mind the township meetings, elections for Police Chief, elections for park-keepers and judge etc etc etc.

Makes me think he is abnormally cluless, or the world's most pitifully inept troll.

A small point worth celebrating:
Tommy Robinson aka Stephen Yaxley-Lennon scored 2.2% of his vote and lost his deposit.
Gerard ‘it’s just satire’ Batten lost the seat he’d held for 15 years.
Carl ‘rape jokes’ Benjamin failed to win a seat and is under police investigation.

The wholesale destruction of UKIP is indeed a glorious silver lining. I can just about live with Farage provided he stays inside his Brexit box. If him and his fellow arseholes start trying to get into general policy and become MP’s they’re going to have a tougher fight.
