I saw the Interview with Ann Widdecombe last night and thought she was channeling Farage's gurning.

That Sanatogen must be good stuff! Swivel-eyed loon is usually only a turn of phrase.

This is her channeling Boris.

seems she is on something stronger!

Looks like she isn't the only ripe steamer in the Farangist Party.

Claire has always been a tad confused/confusing.

A Revolutionary Communist Party activist previously, she has flip flopped her way to a sort of hillbilly small government 'libertarian' position based around letting people watch people molest people and incite them to murder each other on YouTube if they want to.

To be fair she has denied the Gary Glitter thing - on the other hand she has defended the IRA (she has an Irish Catholic parentage) blowing up Warrington and is as mad as a box of frogs. She has arrived at a sort of Nationalist (thinks multiculturalism is divisive) Socialist position. Seems worryingly familiar - fits right into the Brexit Party.

Widdecombe is just mad. Again a perfect fit.

I’m confused. But then, I’m a Yank. :D
Does Britain get to have two elections? One for the EU parliament and another for the regular Parliament?
If Britain (is it ok and PC to say “England” in this context?) was supposed to EXIT, why does it still get to vote?

But, hey. We have at last count 25 Democrats running for President, all of whom are to the left of Genghis Khan, so who am I to talk?

I will accept any explanation, even if it’s total bullshit. I can pretend it’s a logical and correct answer. Pretend you are a missionary explaining the Trinity to a cannibal from the Trobriands.

Are you operating under the assumption that Genghis Khan's views can be quantified by the modern left-right system of politics?

No. I am committing humor or satire, which you are perpetually incapable of grasping.
Haven’t you ever heard of anyone being referred to as “to the right of Attila the Hun?”
Move along, Kid. Let the grownups in Britain explain.

Boy, if I had you on TMP, I would have your ass in the DH so fast your head would spin. Personal Attack!
But the cunts at Frothers let you get away with that.

Short Answer -

Yes, we vote in both. We have MP’s who have dominion over us minions inside the U.K., and MEP’s we send to Brussels who debate and decide policy for the whole of the European Union.

We have to send MEP’s there again because we didn’t leave the EU in time, and this is mainly because those who voted to Leave can agree on what it actually means. The rest of us are just along for whatever the ride turns out to be.

Sorry, that should’ve been *CAN’T agree*. Quite an important distinction, to be fair.

Y'know, if you register, you'll be able to edit.

How to register, that is the question. Winnie never seemed to manage it.
