The thing that surprises me about the whole Khurasan miniatures is Larry Dunn "expose" is that I never figured Larry "Elk Fucker" Dunn liked sci-fi. I mean look at his user page on Wikipedia..

So why would Larry "ooh look an Elk" Dunn start up a 15mm scifi company with out at least lots of elk or some historical stuff on there? In my mind it seems that if this whole KM sock puppet thing is true (and I'm not convinced it is) then has Mr Khurasan just created a sock puppet imitation Larry Dunn to join his evil sock puppet army..?

Khurasan Miniatures was originally focused on historicals. Later he found out sci-fi sells better.

And it is a fact that someone named Lawrence Dunn owns the house Khurasan gives as a return address.

Apologies for the (sort of) hijacking, but since I started this a while back I though it my duty to resolve it.

Done and done. Let it be known that Bill responded to my recent request for contact, and -after I submitted (yet another) request for a refund- he did make good.

Of course, being Bill, he admitted no fault, claiming to have made payments before (that I failed to accept, so he was forced to 'take them back'...?) as well as make attempts to contact me (email) that I never responded to.
Now, I'm far from perfect, and this could be possible, but since I'm an OCD no-life who panics if an inbox contains more than one unread message (and therefore checks them unhealthily far too often...) I have serious doubts about his story.

Still, it's good to be free of him...at least until he sells my email addy to some shady advertiser - in which case I hope at least for one that will go halfsies on the mayo...

The deafening silence from KM would indicate it as well. Frankly, if he is Mr. Dunn, I can certainly see why he wanted to start fresh after the fiasco on TMP with Rich. Having that name attached to his business would probably have killed it at the outset if it had been widely known just from the sheer magnitude of derision it would have engendered. He didn't so much burn his bridges in 2007, but he burned them, ground up the ashes, and then launched them into the sun. Having said that, I would still buy stuff from the tool if it took my fancy.
