I did wonder if he bought them little RAF uniforms including taches and Luftwaffer ones and got them to play out dog fights over his pond.

We used to have a big fat bully of a wood pigeon in our garden, I named him Al Capone. Used to 'ease' the other birds off the feeding table. One day he'd eaten a bit too much, came into land and went straight through the table. Splinters of wood, feathers, sparrows and other birds all a flurry of motion. His weight had snapped it in half.

No birds were harmed but the table was mashed.

I am a bit of a cunt.

I have to close periodically because otherwise the whole thing would overheat. It's partly for my own psychological benefit -- there's nothing worse than spending an hour of your weekend packing an order, only to find you've just received two more ....
