I thought a slightly gushing "thanks guys, XOXOX" was at least a slightly better response than "Fuck you, I'm melting all the little fucking ponies down to slag".

This is all really rather amusing though I have to agree. :D

I prefer "Thank you for your order. It will be posted in a couple of days" and then a happy customer receiving said order in due course. No hugs, no kisses, no bullshit, but everyone involved still knows that business would not exist without that order and those like it.

But then, Kickstarter is for making dreams reality apparently, totally not a thinly-veiled retail transaction.
