Is it wrong that (as a non-backer of course) I appreciate this reaction much more than the usual gushing "Thanks guys, couldn't have done this without you!XOXOX", "Your [sic] all stars/ dear friends" and, when things go wrong, "We're all in this together" and "Hang on in there"?

Not to justify or condone his actions, but Kickstarter is usually so fucking nauseating a video of burning books is actually quite refreshing.

I'd never heard of him until this thread so I did a little googling. I understand he may or may not have mental health issues. But seriously, what a twat. On one of the sites I looked at there was a comment from someone who had to work 8 hours to send a $75 pledge for this KS, so I'm guessing this person must work in a fairly low paid profession. To have their days wages basically taken and wasted by this fucker is cuntitude of the highest order.

I'd heard about his kickstarter when there was a story that he'd been faking depression. Doing so in an attempt to be like a "real artist" because he thinks that's what real artists are like He's got no fucking idea. Fact of the matter is that John Campbell's just a whinging cunt, that's all, who thinks he can gain money by doing fuck all. Worst of all, he has the delusion that people should be honoured to give him money to do fuck all! because again, he thinks that's what happens to real artists.

I mean, what a pointless individual he is. I hope the cunt gets prosecuted.

I suppose we are all going to become more "selective" about this type of investment in the future, I have 1 or two crowdfunded projects which Im still waiting on, but usually I've just sent the money (I can afford at that time) and forgotten about it..
