Paul Hicks on the Steve Dean forum wrote:Hello Everyone

I want to help raise some money for my Rugby club. They are having a raffle on the 4/5/2014. The tickets are £5 and the prize is cheque for half the money taken for the tickets and last year it was £2785

Also as an incentive for members I will hold a mini raffle for members to win a figure of you choice to be sculpted by me. You will also be entered into the main draw for the main prize. This means even if you do not win the miniature prize you could win the money!

The draw for the sculpt will be on on Star Wars day May the 4th. If you wish to purchase a ticket you will need to send me an email to phicks1@mac.com with a contact phone number and an address. I will take payment via Paypal (paypal address is phicks1@mac.com) and it will need to be made as gift payment that way the Rugby club will get all the money.

Any questions please PM more or send an email to phicks1@mac.com

Paul

A fiver for the chance to get a sculpt by Hicksy? Sounds well worth a punt to me.

Thanks Duff for pushing this.

Thank you so much. In our small town we have no facilities and rely on a local school for our pitches and somewhere to meet. We have a mini and youth section of nearly 250 boys and girls. We are one of the only clubs in the home counties to run sessions for girls between 13 and 17. Players start as young as 2yrs and our oldest is in his 50s. It's a real heart to the Chesham community last year in a cup final held at our club we had 400 local people watch their team. The money raised will mean that the youth sections will be able to carry on.

If you are looking to get that one off sculpt you have always wanted it could be yours, plus the chance at a big chunk of money as well. Just PM me or contact me at phicks1@mac.com

Thank you so much

Anyone know how to mark it as a gift?

In paypal help I see:

The payment types for a personal payment are:
Gift: to send money as a gift, like for a birthday.

But when I chose 'send to friends of family' vs 'pay for goods and services', there is never a subsequent option to choose 'gift'. Is all that is needed to say that its not for goods and services?

Ahhh paypal :loopy:
