Would you trust Yodel in the UK

Waited for delivery via Yodel today, I was in all day. Paid extra for next day delivery! No delivery. Website tracking says it was delivered today at 11:15, signed for by "customer"!

My name is not "customer" so where is my parcel. Telephone at Yodel not manned after 13:00 on a Saturday, and website no use at all!

Has anyone else had any experiences with Yodel?

:x

I ordered a drum stool of eBay a couple of years ago. The yodel driver left it in my "prearranged safe-place". I didn't arrange a safe place and stayed in all day for the parcel. The idiot driver didn't ring the bell, he left it in the bin outside my house.... Seriously, they are shite!

I have a similar story to the rest of you. I was at home, heard a thump at door, it was a Yodel card telling me my package was in box by front door. "Box" was of course the council paper recycling bin. If I actually hadn't been in that day it would have been collected by the bin men a few hours later. As I was in, it would have been quicker to knock on the door and give the packet to me than put it in the bin and write out a card. Twats.

I live next to a car showroom and everyone else leaves packages with them, but only after checking to see if I am in.
