Pfft, the only moves I ever needed was to stamp on their toes, poke them in the eyes and then leg it. Won a lot of trophies that way.

Barry... near a mate of mine so it was nice to chat in between sessions (he was intermediate, I was beginner). Although the instructors brother did one closer to me, I liked his style of teaching and his missus helped out (absolute nutter, the pain just seems to spur her on!) which meant you got more help if needed. There is something weird about kicking a womans crotch for five minutes...

Closest I ever got to martial arts was swinging rattan for 14 years until I started to need chiropractic visits.
Now I just practice lead in various calibers.
