The Infernal Furnace

We've just had the most amazing hail storm.
The sky was all purple, black and gold, like a bruise; and the wind was blowing like a bastard.
Absolutely stunning. The world is an amazing place and we are all victims of its apparent simplicity.

Nothing quite so bucolic.
I was walking down Canterbury high street attempting the impossible - buying a man's casual shirt that isn't checked. I fucking hate checked shirts, which means I'm pretty much fucked.

I know what you mean. You end up looking like a '90's "townie".

It's that or a tartan casual lumberjack sort these days apparently.

Do any of them resemble a 1950's table cloth?

Still if it's any consolation we are getting a blustery day with outbreaks of sunshine and the odd smattering of raindrops. It's been rather nice here the last few days, sunshine gently warming us from our winter slumber. The signs of life beginning to creep back into the foliage.

And I'm sat in my mancave painting terrain for Salute - or at least I was until Humph posted.

Try shopping somewhere other than George at Asda, Primark or Matalan and you should be fine.

It's been pissing down here all day, and blowing a hoolie

I don't like checked shirts either, they're worn by cunts. And loud Americans.

That's probably tautology.
