Given the general level of literacy I see about the place, I don't think it's all that outrageous a scenario.

The message it gives me is that we should stop giving these sorts of viral film-makers airspace - this isn't a real ad, or for a real organisation - just someone trying to get people to watch their 'film' so they can use the number of hits it gets in their film-school application.

Of course in due time, people will confuse this with reality and think it really happened, like the boy that almost got snatched by the eagle, and the stunt pilot that landed the plane with one wing.

Once that threshold has been realized, I can commission work on a film to attract my cult followers. An octopus super imposed over my face asking for donations to raise R'lyeh should do the trick.
