About me: I paint minis more than I game with them. I enjoy most scales and genres, but I've settled in with doing 42mm Samurai from Steve Barber, and the occasional 54mm post-apoc conversion using Bronze Age figures. I enjoy painting, but I love doing some basic conversions. You can see my work over at http://carmensminiaturepainting.blogspot.com/, though, I'll post stuff here, too, as I get more comfortable.

I've been lurking here, and look forward to learning some new techniques I've seen mentioned throughout this forum.
I'm also active at TMP, Lead Adventure, and Two Hour Wargame's new forums.

Welcome to the sump. We don't do titles like TMPer and shit and I'm sure if you don't act like a cunt you'll be fine. Actually you'll probably be fine even if you do act like a cunt, just look at some of the fuckers who live here . . .

It's pretty much about toy soldiers and enjoying life here this isn't the little kids' playground or the big boys' playground it's just a place where people paint and talk about games. There's also a little unrestrained honesty as people won't put on the kid gloves about painting and say 'GRATE JOBE!' when the result is two fried eggs on a brown plate smeared with a couple pink sausages. Frothers has improved my painting with the tips and tricks and honesty (even if it stings sometimes).

Hello and why haven't you got a Fenris banner on your blog ;)

Ah, this is obviously some strange usage of the word 'safe' that I wasn't previously aware of.
I'd recognise that sound anywhere! That's the sound of a hundred heads deflating.
