Sounds like negative billing to me which IIRC is illegal in Canada.

Oh I don't know, I've always thought of him as being a Clark's black moccasin and stone bleach denim off the market kind of fella. Possibly tootling himself up with a nice white shirt under a 1985 mustard colour leather jacket for a night on the town.
