To be fair to GW - the quality of the products is very high and the kits are beautifully engineered. For every awful, blocky space marine character there are ten wonderful plastic kits of, for example - skeleton cavalry, nurglings, skaven, raptors, deathclaw, demigriff knights, etc etc.

I have to admit I would never personally buy pre paints. I am sure many would though.

It is intresting how GW word things to make them seem faultless. They seem to have not considered even for a second that independent retailers are buying less because games workshop treats them with utter distain and constantly seeks to screw them over.

Fine cast certainly hurt them.You can't tell your customers you are changing to a different material because its cheaper then charge them more without them feeling at least a little bit insulted. Thats without even mention how bad fine cast was as a material considering all the casting flaws.
