I imagine he has already had applications from members of Bill's stable of attractive young sub-editors, so Henry if you are reading this, half of these girls are serving Viet-Cong officers and the other half have got TB, so make sure yours has a cough. Oh, And they all have a cock.

Henry Hyde is editor of Miniature Wargames - not Wargames Illustrated.

While they are searching for a new assistant editor, perhaps it's time for them to take another leaf out of TMP's book and to start randomly banning subscribers while at the same time increasing the letters page to fill the entire magazine. The ensuing drama should guarantee an increase in subscribers as people rush to show their support and the advertisers will be ecstatic about the increase in activity.
Additionally the new assistant editor could have their own page where they post photos of themselves copied from Facebook and pose hypothetical questions about how to obtain visas for other countries, how to track down your boyfriend/random sex-tourist and cures for "a stiff mousing arm".
These traditional magazines really need to get up to date about what your average wargamer wants to read about

How very cynical. I'm sure that Trouty would never resort to such chicanery.

I agree.

Derek, we simply can't tolerate an accurate response here.
It is. And it is not. When it is, and when it is not, is the question or the answer, or both or neither.
