What Do We have Here? A Ranger?

Postby An Absent Humphrey » Mon Jan 06, 2014 4:38 pm

Whilst looking for something else I stumbled upon this:

http://ranger.budgetauthenticity.org/fo ... um.php?f=5

It's a forum dedicated to ranger re-enactment. Not Roger's Rangers. But Middle Earth rangers.
God bless the internet and god bless bored, white, single, males.

I mean you just fucking KNOW
They are all going to be huge fat bastards with the stealthy properties of a drunken elephant and the survival instincts of a child of 3.

Lone Ranger seeks Tonto for horse based activities.
Apply to Kemosahbe Humph c/o Hole in the Wall canyon (last cubicle of the gents behind the Tesco carpark)

I think you placed your small ad on the wrong forum :|

Comedy gold:

For a while now I've been talking about doing a ranger trek sometime in the later summer/early autumn out here in CO. This has led me to start thinking about practicality in a way I have never had to before. One of the things I've been considering carefully is what rations to bring on the trip, and naturally my thoughts turned to Lembas

What a fucking cunt. Sorry, he should be sent out to fucking starve.

Well Humph, obviously. His knowledge of the correct sandwich for the weather conditions whilst on a trek would be invaluable as would his experience of polar conditions for crossing the Misty Mountains. His vast store of fascinating anecdotes would make any Moot an unforgettable experience and in an emergency he can always fall back on his boxed dvd set of that modern day Strider of rural survival, Jack Hargreaves!
