Having to use conference calls (and fucking webinars) for work, I found that both amusing, and sickening (sickening given I go back to work tomorrow after a glorious long relax at home)....

Never had a conference call but there have been a few times in the past when I've been on the phone and the other person's voice has got a little echoey, then the sound of trickling water...

When I was a junior engineer, I had to have an appraisal by the contracts manager. I was really looking forward to it because I had excellent reviews from my site manager, the senior foreman and senior engineer.
The CM was always busy, so he says 'come on lad, I've got 10 minutes'. He takes me into the site toilets and goes into one cubicle, 'take a seat' he says and so I sat in the next cubicle.
'Gerry says you are hard(Huagh! Splash!)working, what would you say (Barp!) are your best (fart!) oops that was a bit loud! qualities?'.
