@Freak - simply slipped over (sober) and put my arm out to break the fall a couple of days back... cracked it in exactly the same place I did it last time - bright side is it gets me out of the cooking & washing up

Can't say I've noticed any problem with the weather today, because I live in the north and it's been a nice day here. Blue sky, sun shining, soft gentle breeze and everything. I don't know what you're all whinging about darn sarf

So I took the opportunity, on such a pleasant Christmas Eve, with all the buses running on time, to do all my Christmas shopping. It was five to four and the shops were shutting when I bought all the stuff I needed. Why? Because I'm a fucking man and that's what real men do. In fact, I had a minute spare before the shops finally closed their doors, so I might leave it a bit later next year with that much time in hand

missus not well, kids out, decided to come back home and go over to them in the morning, think I might need a boat by then though given the conditions out there. We had the same last year, why are people surprised we got the same shitty weather this year, although I do feel some sympathy for those stuck at airports or without power.

Managed to start some miniatures...it's been almost a year. I thought I'd do something with the RBG stuff I got 3 days back. The zombies are cleaned up and based. The Aenglish assembled and based. Starting on the Helsvakt now as the family is watching a Mummy marathon tonight, currently on The Mummy Returns. I'm off this week from work and hoping to switch gears to work on some 28mm SYW. I've got some 200 odd cavalry to get started on (a mix of Minden Prussian and Austrian dragoons, and various Saxon cav from Eureka).

Spending my day wondering where all the things I asked for are, and wondering why the fuck I got call of duty instead of battlefield. Not that I asked for that either.
