People make characteristic errors when the write a foreign language. Gringos, for example, are forever muffing gender in their pronoun use in Portuguese.

Few of Tango’s fit the typical errors Spanish speakers make. Some of his errors DO, however, follow classical stereotypes of how Spanish speakers talk in English (e.g. calling everyone “my friend”).
