You can give someone honest advice about why an obviously available privacy policy makes sense, without being mean, malicious or rude, and it will still backfire in TMP-land. Odd, really: I thought that other stuff that I'd posted in the past was far more likely to get me booted off.

If only there was a way to find those posts of yours. Something like a search facility on the site.

A cynical guest would say that one of the main reasons Bill has no interest in fixing the search function is to prevent Frothers and other random cunts from finding all the stupid shit that's happened on TNP in the past and reposting it on Frothers or on blogs.

As soon as you offer advice, it's considered to be a 'nuisance'. Bill dislikes people being a nuisance.

But your average Frother is computer savvy enough to easily find all Bill's embarrassing secrets without any need of TNP's search function as this thread has proved so often.
Even a simple Gooogle turns up plenty of embarrassing stuff on him https://www.google.com/search?q=bill+armintrout
Just as well he'll never need to apply for a job, those background checks would ruin his chances!

Re Tango and those conspiracy theories (some Frothers believe) that Tango doesn't read what he puts on TMP, or that he is, in fact, Bill, the questions I have to ask: If he doesn't read them, why does he only put a proportion (and usually a reasonable proportion) of links to my blog, and if he is, in fact, Bill, why does he advertise the blog of a Locked Account person?

For example, I'm currently playing with things that don't pretend to be anything other than toy soldiers, Tango has just posted about one of the more interesting units and ignored many less interesting ones... so evidence of discrimination in his choice, therefore he reads the blog...

And as I'm always happy to say, no, I don't have any issues with Tango, and yes, I am quite happy for him to post about my blog.
