On the other hand I did use rules written by old gits. I sent off postal orders for catalogues and after 21 days wrote another letter saying where is my catalogue and then 14 days later perused the cyclostated pice of ***** that arrived with a snotty letter saying this is a hobby you know. Next I sent my father's cheque off and waited. Two months later a box of oddly shaped metal would arrive ready to be filed and scraped into a simulacrum of the photo in Military Modelling and by then you had forgotten why you wanted the bloody things in the first place.

Who gave you the franchise to define who or what is "American"? Are you like Louis XIV, who declared "I am the state", in that whatever agrees with your views is true Americanism and those Americans who think you're full of half-baked prejudices and other assorted nonsenses are not "Americans"?
