If you are not an American how can our 2nd Amendment possibly be a concern of yours?
If you are an American and do not exercise your freedoms, I guess you just plan on calling 911 and sitting back while my colleagues and I take the risks to keep the wolves away from you and yours.
The first part is easy to answer: because our right wing elected nuts take money from your gun companies to spew similar bullshit in our congress. Currently, we manage to have a higher murder rate than even you Yanks, so I shudder to think what it is going to be like once every tiny-dicked Walter Mitty with a chip on his shoulder is packing heat.
But it is the second part I really like.
American gun nuts are, almost invariably, people who have never once in their lives had to deal with serious urban violence. Meanwhile, just in the past month, lil’ ol’ snowflake SJW me has had a firefight break out in front of his house and has had one of his friends assassinated on the streets in cold blood and another get a dozen death threats. I’ve also witnessed a good half dozen muggings and purse snatchings. And, in the last two years, I have had guns pointed at me by criminals twice.
In none of those cases — and many, many more — would owning a gun have done anything but a) increased my risk of death; b) increased my neighbors’ risk of death, and; c) potentially have given criminals yet another weapon.
I love these fat, white suburban American fanboys. To hear them talk, every single one of them is a true, blue action heeero, just waiting to blossom, even though hardly a one has even seen a mugging, let alone been the victim of one.
If there is a god and she has a sense of humor, they’ll be reincarnated as black women in a RdJ favela, where they can have access to all the guns they want and the “freedom” to use them as they see fit.
