TMP is greater than Bill. Which doesn't mean it's very good at all.....just better than the moron- in- charge.
It seems to going through a bit of a revival lately. Certainly not a Golden Age but perhaps a Rusted bit of Iron Age.
I'd be sorry to see TMP go. Again, it's relative. About as sorry as knocking over a glass of beer with half a swallow left in it.

Here’s a good use for a disposable sock.
Start a poll suggestion on “Would you miss TMP if it went away? Rate on a scale of 1-10, with 1 equals ‘I can’t stand this dump!’ And 10 equals ‘I would be devastated!’
I think this discussion on Frothers is the only thing that keeps Frothers alive, so you would all have to give it atbleast an 8. How would you spend your time otherwise?

TNP and Frothers are both on their last legs. It's a toss up (up Bill not off) which keels over first.

Frothers died ages ago but as none of us depend on it for income it can drift on forever.
TNP is very unlikely to be able to support Bill much longer and as he wouldn't be prepared to run it as a not for profit forum he'll pull the plug on it sooner rather than later
Editor in Chief Bill wrote:It also 'thins the herd' so to speak, so that marginal and under-financed companies fall off the radar, leaving the better managed companies to dominate the news sphere.

10... imagine that lot turned out on the streets looking for a new home!
TNP is the perfect containment area where we can watch and make notes without risk of it spreading

Some have them have already leaked out (hardly surprising given their decrepitude). As long as they're moderated properly they seem fairly harmless.

Watching some of the long term inmates trying to adapt to other forums could be endlessly amusing though.

The rehabilitation of people like Smokey goes a long way to place the blame for their previous behavior on Bill's appalling moderation

Someone has to enforce freedom of speech for racial and religious intolerance and remove the commie British snowflakes. The forum doesn't run itself!

This may come as a surprise to you, Bill, but I can type faster than one word a minute, even on an iPad.
