I think I'm more concerned by people who react to any moral epiphany in gaming by describing it as

'TMP naval gazing/I-like-WWII-but-won't-play-Germans-but-you-can-but-I-am-better-than-you judgmental bullshit'

than I am by those who come to question what they are gaming.

That doesn't mean I would always agree with those with the moral quandary, but I'd rather someone had it rather than shrugging it off and looking up the victory points for bayoneting 100 plus tied up civilians.

Long ago in a wargaming universe far far away I vowed I would never “do” WWII because I would have to be either a dirty Commie or a filthy fascist.
Now that I’m playing Flames etc my best friends have German armies and I have a HUGELY big Soviet army. Go figure.
I almost bought a Fallschirmjaeger “army”, once. I came to my senses and bought Late War British instead.
