I am very well behaved on sites that have rational, even-handed moderation and which mean what they say when the affirm “no politics”.

I think you are wrong VFL, John the OFM aka Winston Smith has been the "voice of reason" for many, many years on TNP.

Obviously that excludes the voices of reason who have left.(Yes, bit of a crush on John the OFM aka Winston Smith, he is lovely).
