At this point, I'm in it for the juvenile haiku and the occasional boob gif.

I don't see anything wrong with with the thread per se. It served its original purpose months ago but it's since become a sort of designated spot for all the insanity going on at the other site. Which is quite alright, I think. I'm sorry to those who are offended, but if someone is going to alienate their own advertisers by calling them filth, expose members' passwords, or advertise packs of ISIS fighters, why should we shut up about it and pretend we didn't see it? It's going to be said. Frankly, it's unreasonable to expect some of the more outrageous stuff to pass by without comment.

But at the same time, I don't think every other thread here needs to contain a jab at TMP. In fact, I think I'd rather not read it in an unrelated thread. I'm content to keep all the crap in this single bucket, and I try to keep to that principle with my own posts. I read quite a few of the threads throughout the site and comment on many of them. I hardly see myself as obsessed.

Oh, and one other personal note I'd like to add, just for clarification. I'm not a TMP reject. I pulled the rip cord just before all this shit blew up, and I'm not nursing any grudges.

I remember coming to this forum before billgate and it was fucking dead, then Bills fetish happened and the TMP thread started and here we are today.

Lots of moaners talking about the "good old days" and how the thread is evil but yet not lifting a finger to do anything about changing it. Its the same on a lot of forums that have been in death throes (sp?) and yet still they die with no effort being made from the loudest complainers.

Half the stuff in this thread is petty insults and swearing - its like being at the pub. Sure some of the people in it are cunts and talk shite but Id rather be in the pub than a place like sterile airport toilet like LAF being bored senseless by attention seeking and endless blogposts about new ruleset x that is the greatest thing since a blowie from some german backpacker.

Frothers is an unmoderated site that allows guest posting - it direction and content is driven by whoever is posting at the time and there is no control apart from no front bums. What did you expect to happen ? If anyone wants people to stop posting topics\themes then why not talk to the committee and get the site moderated or go piss in the wind.
