At this point, I'm in it for the juvenile haiku and the occasional boob gif.
I don't see anything wrong with with the thread per se. It served its original purpose months ago but it's since become a sort of designated spot for all the insanity going on at the other site. Which is quite alright, I think. I'm sorry to those who are offended, but if someone is going to alienate their own advertisers by calling them filth, expose members' passwords, or advertise packs of ISIS fighters, why should we shut up about it and pretend we didn't see it? It's going to be said. Frankly, it's unreasonable to expect some of the more outrageous stuff to pass by without comment.
But at the same time, I don't think every other thread here needs to contain a jab at TMP. In fact, I think I'd rather not read it in an unrelated thread. I'm content to keep all the crap in this single bucket, and I try to keep to that principle with my own posts. I read quite a few of the threads throughout the site and comment on many of them. I hardly see myself as obsessed.
Oh, and one other personal note I'd like to add, just for clarification. I'm not a TMP reject. I pulled the rip cord just before all this shit blew up, and I'm not nursing any grudges.
