Bunnyboy, most of the people posting here WOULDN'T be if Bill simply followed the rules of his own forum. Instead, he bans people whose politics he doesn't like while letting others pretty much have free reign. And this is just one of the sleazy things he does.

And let me make it crystal clear to you what are the politics Bill doesn't like: simply saying that killing them all and letting God sort them out is a bad idea; talking about global warming; reacting in any way, shape or form to posters who insinuate that large chunks of the human race are innately inferior, subhuman, or unevloved.

What are the politics that get a pass from Bill? Claiming that the Holocaust didn't occur; calling for the Middle East to be nuked until it glows; suggesting the ebola-infected hordes from the Third World will invade Texas and need to be stopped by military force; suggesting that 12 year olds should be allowed to marry middle-aged men.

I have no problems whatsoever debating people who disagree with me(as many people here note). I have never censored another person in my life, no matter how repugnant I have found their opinions to be. In fact, I have never even called for someone to be censored.

So bull me no shit about how people here are "bullying" poor old Billy and his gang of merry misanthropists, racists, climate-change deniers, warmongers, wanna-be kiddie-fiddlers and Walter Mittys at TMP, OK? If Bill played by his rules - no politics - none of this would be happening. But when "no politics" means banning for talking about climate change, but Holocaust denial is good clean fun for the entire family, then it is DAMNED clear that Bill himself doesn't give a fuck about fair play... or even about his own posted rules.

So why should anyone here worry about "bullying" Bill?

And for the nth time, if you dislike this thread, why are you always returning to it to winge on and on (and on and on and on....) about it?

So let me get this straight: "everyone" simultaneously knows that we are "a bunch of TMP rejects making an impotent stand" and yet, somehow, simultaneously, this self-same "everyone" can't tell the difference between a hobby group's activities and the pissing and moaning of a small number of people who are marginally associated with that group, on ONE THREAD of an on-line forum that is CLEARLY LABELED as "nonsense" and not directly gaming related?

You're arguing that all of Frothers will be tainted by this thread. But do you seriously believe one thread in one part of the website is going to be that influential? No it's not. Come on, be honest. No one will walk up to you at a show and berate you off the back of this, and even if someone did you can point out, quite accurately, that Frothers tolerates many different views and is a pretty pluralistic place.
Which brings us to the point, that when you embrace free speech to this extent you embrace the possibility that something like this will come up.
