Yeah... cos there's nothing more enjoyable than listening to some twat in a Star Wars t-shirt and undiagnosed Asbergers recite large chunks of the script of Red Dwarf/Star Trek/ Monty Python etc etc. whilst waiting for his turn to roll dice. *

* Actually there is, it's some adenoidal fucker with a clip board reciting the serial numbers of locomotives. Fortunately these are a rarer breed and if provoked you can always 'accidentally' nudge them on the tracks as a train approaches. 8)

Doesn't seem to me to be attached to Nappy stuff - though my sideline view of the sport (nappies) does convey a more-than-usual 'emperor's new clothes' disposition to the participants...? dunno...I run into the same sort of mindset when trying to discuss aircombat, but then I always assumed that I was the one out of step (though keeping perfect time to the voices in my head...).

My go-to response is that I only play sci-fi and imagi-nations. Even my "historical" stuff is actually occurring in a parallel universe slightly to the side of ours. It looks just like ours, but is a tad off here and there. So if I want to paint up FOUR regiments of Napoleonic French Carabiniers instead of two, fuck off: it´s an imagi-nation.

We can go back to gongoozling cause that hobby really has problems in its online communities. You think Nappie players are bad? Man, you should hear the divisive speech among adherents to different schools involving being designated a gongoozler or not.

And thus started the 2015 Frothers' Abusive Haiku competition.

All pots must be contained within three lines, contain no more than seventeen (17) syllables in total and must contain the words 'twat', 'cunt' 'chumpie' or 'Bill'. Extra points given to entries that have the classic five, seven five syllabic construction.
