What constitutes an odd post then?

Just when you thought the Ultramodern board had plumbed all the depths, one of the advertisers gifts the world this thread:

"28mm ISIS Pack Released"

Thus demonstrating that when it comes to marketing, Stan Johansen's taste is almost as piss poor as his sculpting. The funny thing about the thread is someone making the observation about it bringing wargaming into disrepute. On any other forum that would be a valid point but the bar is set super low at Casa Bill.

Stan does state that even the shitty publicity will help him shift more of his crap. Apparently it happened last time he released similar 'insurgent' miniatures. The twat knows exactly what he is doing.

And all the while Bill is firmly entrenched in Ultramodern talking Navy bollocks and starting threads, while Tango01 gets mysteriously upgraded. Bill is also a lot more active (but super cautious) on The Fez.

I wonder if ISIS get a royalty cheque from Stan? If they don't, I can nominate one or two law firms that might help them on that score.

I prefer this abolsute cracker on the UM Board

Mungo Laurie
We are in an 80 year war with the Islamic fanatics, who are now coming out of the woodwork by the droves. This is good. They can now be seen, and found, and killed. ISIS will not let them go, in fact will kill them if they try, so they are trapped there. Every country around them is now hostile, except Turkey, and they will be soon. The destruction of the ISIS Caliphate will begin, and they will become martyrs for their god, and good riddance. But some will say, "but more will come, you have angered more of them", and that is good too. You must draw your enemies out into the open. The quenching of this fanatical strain is going to take time. As fierce and murderous as the Muslim extremists see themselves, they are nothing by comparison to the killing capacity of the Anglo-Saxon and European tribes, and they will see their lands depopulated over the course of this 80 year war. It has barely begun.

to which the 'best' response was

Lion in the Stars
Mungo's comment does kinda remind me about the Man-Kzin Wars, where it seems that the humans have been gradually making the Kzin more civilized and less hot-headed by killing off all those that simply scream and leap when startled.

Yes, that's right. Kill em all, eventually they will evolve ('cos they are not humans you understand) into peaceful creatures.

That thread was over a week ago and received- no negative responses. They probably think they are onto a brilliant new idea here - selective evolution. "First we kill the religious Fanatics. (no, not the Mormon ones or the baptists - funny foreign ones who hold insane views about god telling them what to do. No, not the Mormons I said) then we can start with people who are a blight on society. What about handicapped people? Deaf People too? It's brilliant, I am amazed no one has though about this before!"

People on Stormfront are probably posting comments on their forum 'Hells Bells that's a bit extreme - this is a family website. Take it to TMP, why doncha?'

Well, he's probably basing his radical theory on the manifest failure that selective breeding has wrought upon TMP. Too small a gene pool and before log you are breed the mouth breathing, simpletons that populate the place. Fair play for thinking outside the box. :D

We are in an 80 year war with the Frother fanatics, who are now coming out of the woodwork by the droves. This is good. They can now be seen, and found, and killed. Pete will not let them go, in fact will kill them if they try, so they are trapped there. Every website around them is now hostile, except TWW, and they will be soon. The destruction of the Frother website will begin, and they will become martyrs for their liberal worldview, and good riddance. But some will say, "but more will come, you have angered more of them", and that is good too. You must draw your enemies out into the open. The quenching of this fanatical strain is going to take time. As fierce and murderous as the Frother extremists see themselves, they are nothing by comparison to the killing capacity of the TMP Redneck armed with a pick-up truck, piss-poor education and 16 assorted firearms, and they will see their lands depopulated over the course of this 80 year war. It has barely begun

Somesock should post on there asking what rules to use for ISIS operatives running around beheading western civilians.
