Don't feed this troll.

You just did, though.

Sorry to see that sarcasm goes over your head.

I had to verify, but you're right.
This deserves more attention.

(Note that your password is in the URL)

Therefore, this should come as no great surprise to anyone.

And if you are not careful, and somehow your URL (with the password) gets out, what can someone do with it?

Gosh, I guess they could send a Hobby News story in for publication.

That's about it.

And no, the passwords are not on "public display" unless you make them so.

Glossing over the fact that the person that has allowed them to be so readily discoverable is he. It's his site. PresumablyBill sets up the URL with the password. It's Bill that doesn't encrypt it and it's Bill that allows puts their details in clear on his site where anyone can find it.

Now, tempting as it might be, you naughty boys and girls should resist the temptation to post bogus news stories about new ranges of 28mm ladyboys and a not Jabba the Hutt.

Yes, that's very tempting. Hmmmm...

Did you catch Bill's response? It's not going to get fixed. His answer is basically "shut up and suck on it". And it's amusing that the response of some of the geniuses is acceptance, and apparent hostility toward the person with the temerity to even raise the issue.

Yes, very, very tempting...

"His answer is basically "shut up and suck on it"."

Well, to be fair, the site doesn't have a privacy policy to have failed to maintain...

Bill, you can't blame your advertisers for you allowing their private data to be easily accessed by little more than a simple Google search.

Well apparently he can...

Don't trust Bill to do right by you or your money.

Except they tend not to remain customers for long! I imagine the advertisers board is quite interesting at the moment 8)
It's interesting that when the shit hits the fan and Bill is running around like a headless chicken, Tango also seems unable to post for the first time in living memory 0;)

Given Bill's response, someone here should fire up their Tor browser and fuck with a likely target's account. Nothing over the top, mind you: just a shot across the bow along the lines of "Oh, you find this amusing, do you?"
