I wonder if the scotch tape, chewing gum and twigs called a "server" that supported the site has finally collapsed in on itself with a whimper. Or more likely Billy boy had a seizure induced by a particularly energetic Skype session and knocked over the toaster that the site runs on.

Every day that Tango continues to post there, the longer the backup times get each morning! That is why Bill's being forced to get an off the shelf system, to handle all the data like modern sites do. In theory it would only take a short time to get that in place, however because Bill is Bill, he won't want to lose his impressive list of ex-members, sockpuppets and banned accounts that make it look like he has a huge membership. I'm guessing all the delay is because he's trying to cobble together some system to transfer all that data over so he doesn't have to start off with zero members and rely on people joining up from scratch.

Imagine the fun you could have being the first in there and snapping up the names like "John the OFM","Smokeyroan","Tango1" etc

Legion 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ad infinitum! If everyone got one of those we could have arguments about which one is the real one, and who has been in the military the longest. Bill would have to ban nobody or everyone. Unless of course Legion 4 has a super secret "hand" shake that only him and bill know. That would ruin everything.
