Well, now you can.

The latest TMP poll is 'Should politics be allowed on the Ultramodern board'

So when it all crashes and burns - again, Obtusetrout can deny all responsibility and tell his punters "Well you voted for it"

Clever

Bill's always been welcoming to neo-nazis. Remember the Stafford Games bullshit, where people pointing out that Roland Hynd was a neo-nazi got their posts deleted and their accounts locked, while he was free to post there?

So which option do you suggest we use the sockpuppet block vote on?
Which will lose him the most members? I'm thinking "yes" will piss off a lot of people and hopefully persuade them to leave, but on the other hand "no" will mean people will post politics anyway and in the ensuing arguments people will get banned for not being rightwing enough (politics) while those expressing ultra right views (not politics) will be encouraged to keep posting.
It's almost a win win situation as whichever way the sockpuppets vote, Bill will carry on fucking up his site and alienating his members.

I think he always leaned that way. The BF was created as a nice, cozy little place for him and his friends to spew their right wing nuttiness and conspiracy theories. It's just that he used to get so much more pushback on the general TMP boards, so you didn't see it so much. Now that a big chunk of the sane wargamers have migrated away, it's given the nut jobs and cranks an opportunity to express themselves freely. That, in turn, attracts more nut jobs and cranks and drives out the others. I think this is really the way Bill wants it.

Connard Sage voted yes, and so have some other aliases.

I say, vote YES. Damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead. Let Bill turn it into what he wants more quickly. It will horrify the advertisers and decent folk and he'll be left with a pile of shit.

He still hasn't stopped banned members from voting either... that effectively doubles the sockpuppet block vote!
I'm backing "no" as it'll be more fun watching the outrage as rightwing politics continues to be posted... (The sockpuppets have pushed that into a substantial first place 0;) )

With his creaky programming/software he probably can't. Besides, if he removed banned members from the TMP database his memberships figures would go down.

Lose/lose for Obtusetrout.
