That was the case once, which was why many, myself included paid to be a sponsor, but if you check you will news from Facebook, blogs, other sites and supporting members gets published.

Out of the 51 news arrticles posted last week only two of them are from non-advertisers. CP Models and Skirmisher Publishing LLC. CP Models is a supporting member.
I'd bet Bill's trying to sell them advertising and has given them a freebie as part of his pitch.
