Way to go on patronising you 'editorial team'

The bloke who complained was our very own Aliensurfer, and it wasn't a 'complaint' so much as an 'I don't see the point, give it someone else'

BTW, you should get rid of that McAfee AV Mike. It's shite.

I think "I've heard no complaints." is Bill's equivalent of "I see no ships!"

Once again, as I troll TMP's Napoleonics board, it strikes me that some of the fuckers there really need to get a girlfriend. Even if they have to rent one by the hour.

How long does formatting a news story take? The advertisers (for only advertisers get their hobby news published on TMP) provide the text and it gets cut and pasted into the TMP system.

The most effort I can see being needed by an editor is to cut and paste the text through Notebook to get rid of unwanted formatting.

And there's another editor formatting the pictures, presumably resizing them as necessary and optimising for web. A couple of minutes per picture would be taking it slowly.

Takes me between 2 and 10 minutes for TWW news, depending on how much formatting is needed and how many images need to be uploaded etc. etc.

Not so any more.
That was the case once, which was why many, myself included paid to be a sponsor, but if you check you will news from Facebook, blogs, other sites and supporting members gets published.
I would not be happy to pay to be able to submit news when non paying members get their news published also..
