Did anyone listen to Grayson Perry on Radio 3 this lunchtime?
He chose these two pieces of music, neither of which I'd heard before, but both being bloody brilliant, if quite different...

I like Grayson Perry's work. His taste in music not so much.

Liked the Opeth one.
Although it was amusing seeing the heavy metallers silently headbanging in the train carriage the music itself was...well, pretty much par for the course.

15 or more years ago (I'm getting old!) Opeth put out a blinding "twin" album Damnation/Delivererance the former being a pretty radio friendly prog/acoustic record that you might like. The former is their usual progressive metal that while mighty does what it says on the tin.

I won't argue on Meshuggah whilst being one of the cornerstones of the modern metal style, decades ahead of their time etc they're very much marmite!
