A word on registering. Theres no cost or obligation, and you should be able to view all (open) forums and post to most others as a guest. No salesman will call, and we will not sell your details on to any third parties. It also allows you to recieve personal messages from other frothers and really feel a part of the community.
NB If you are one of those paranoid/sensible types who puts a ?spoof? in their email address to prevent mass-mailers picking their details off the web (e.g. [nospam]webmaster@frothersunite.co.uk), please don?t check the boxes to indicate that you want to watch a topic, or be informed by email when a personal message arrives! Our mailer daemon ain?t that smart!
Locked Forums
These are indicated by a red and white \"STOP\" sign, and means we are doing some work on it or something. You can still go in and have a look, you just can?t make any posts (at the moment). Just come back later and try again.
Sensible use
We don?t want to restrict the scope of conversations and make a point of not censoring the conversation here like some "other" more heavily moderated boards. If you take serious offence at a post someone has made, it may be that the moderator will need to step in and take charge... or it may be that you need to take a step back and lighten up a bit. As a rule we only delete posts that are clearly spam, or on very rare occasions that might land us in legal difficulties- otherwise we assume you are all adult enough to act like kids and don't need special 'hand-holding' to protect you from some naughty words.
If you are a registered member we now have an "ignore" button which allows you to stop messages from someone appearing on your screen. Use it on people on the wrong side of your offensiveness threshold!
Off Topic posts
Not much is off-topic here at Frothers Unite, we?ll froth on most anything. Its handy to keep similar strings of thought together though, but people?re always starting new topics of conversation (that you find dull) in the middle of a post you are following. If its really giving you gip, contact the forum moderator who can split an existing topic and inform the rogue posters (if they can be a***d).
Try to make the title of a new topic relevant to the content, and keep the content of any replies pertinent too, if you can.

Friendly Town
OK so some people know absolutely nothing about netiquette, bulletin boards, your favourite roleplaying/card/battle game or religion/country/belief system. Most if that probably covers us too by the way!
Just inform them/us nicely please- this is a friendly forum for friendly people. Frothers Unite, not Frothers Have a Big Argument About Fundamentalism, Games Workshop and LARP vs RTTRP. Though do feel free to abuse GW?s pricing policy.
Thanks again and enjoy!
