Yep.

Got an agreement to ongoing structured talks after getting prisoners released. Didn’t even take an aircraft with pallets of cash. Hasn’t lifted any sanctions. Stopped Wargames which can be restarted at a moments notice if Kim acts up. Kim is no longer actively threatening to hit Guam.

Yeah, you nailed it as usual Special K.

Can you contain your glee over Trump’s “failure”?
God, but you’re pathetic.

First things first. Atta boy for maximum silly whataboutism. Using the single individual 20+ year old Elian Gonzalez to attempt to defuse/link the policy stupidity of the Draftdodger Donnie Administration specifically initiated by the Poison Dwarf AG is text book.

Didn’t even take an aircraft with pallets of cash.

I assume this is the false narrative in which the Obama Administration released the Iranians own frozen bank funds back to Iran as part of the nuclear treaty, not a give away of US funds as the Faux News club likes to say?

Hasn’t lifted any sanctions.

Funny thing. North Korea says he promised to do just that.

Stopped Wargames which can be restarted at a moments notice

Not really. The purpose of joint exercises is coordination, not simply shooting practice ( a fine point lost on President Bone Spur). The ability to work with the ROK will degrade rapidly and as long as the Norks can string it out, the further that ability degrades. More importantly, as a negotiating tactic, giving up something while getting exactly nothing in return is at best naive although given the source, stupid is the more likely cause. Extra dummy points for not consulting South Korea, Japan (who said screw you, we are still exercising) and the US military.

Kim is no longer actively threatening to hit Guam.

And we are no longer threatening fire and fury. Two cowardly blowhards ceasing prattling into the ether hardly constitutes world peace.

This has all the makings of 'Falklands II - This Time It's Orange!'

Dying post imperial power blusters a lot, backs down, withdraws the token force that says 'Don't even think about it you Tin Pot Twat' and said Tin Pot Twat thinks - 'They blinked! They fucking blinked! Let's Gooooooooooo!'

Now with the Rusty Old Lady and the Tin Man there wasn't that much damage in world terms.

With the Dotard and Rocket Man we might be getting a little more collateral damage in a few years. :(

Does this mean North Korea wins the World Cup in four years time?

And all the experts were convinced Ronnie Ray Gun was going to push us into a nuclear war.

Instead, he won the Cold War and though Gorby didn’t personally do it they did “tear down this wall”

No one is declaring whirled peas. No treaty has been negotiated. This was a first step. Nothing more.

But it was a first step.

"First step"? You must have missed it-- There is now "no nuclear threat" -- it's over. Trump said so.

Nice to see you're following him in adopting North Korea's propaganda language, though (for which, see previous discussion). Good for you!

You left out "provocative" however; better fix that. Don't want to fall out of the Trump/Kim line.

Y’know, that’s funny about Reagan winning the Cold War. Because I distinctly remember many non-authoritarian socialists saying for decades that the USSR’s economy would eventually collapse from trying to build single-state socialism. But I guess the Soviets were doing just dandy until ol’ Teflon Ron got into the White House and... did what, exactly? Spent shit loads on Star Wars? Started a new cold war? I mean, one of the huge contributing factors to the Soviet Collapse was the shit they themselves stirred up in Afganistan. And although the U.S. gave the Afganis weapons and whatnot, it’s hard to call THAT a great success. I think there’s a good chance it might cause a U.S. collapse, eventually. And it was the precondition for the most devastating attack on U.S. soil, ever.
