Lots of others here need that advice at least as much as I do. Much of what is here to read can be weighed, considered and discarded pretty quickly.

Actually, the GOP believes in cutting back federal activities and spending (outside of the military). The government is their enemy, so it should not be surprising that they do nothing when they get power. Either the OFM is not really a Republican, or he has not fully thought this through.

Actually they don't if you look at what they funded during the last administration and what they are spending this administration. Name the things Obama wanted that they didn't fund. The House has the power of the purse but has repeatedly chosen to not use it.

Your cue cards and talking points in that regard are way out of date. When was the last time you saw the GOP consolidate functionality of multiple federal organizations offices or departments to streamline the bureaucracy and save money? Hell, when did any of them even TALK of doing that?

There ya go Kyote. Wonder if the DNC will stab him in the back for a "better" candidate again.

Trump is not a Republican or Democrat or even an Independent. Trump is a con man and will fuck over everyone to get what he wants. He is all ego.

I don't think Grampa Apathy has read the official platforms of the GOP over the past 17 years. As though he is a RINO.

Just as atheists seem to think they are qualified to judge who is a "true Christian" (We had a local atheist talk show radio host with that attitude), you now assume the job of deciding who is "really a Republican".
Republicans range from the "Me Too!" RINOS to Ted Cruz (my choice last year) to Rand Paul.
I'm comfortable to fit in that tri-polar axis.

And that is the problem with the GOP it is split into 3 groups. Again Trump will fuck over everyone.

Rand Paul is loonie on many issues, but when he demands that Congress, and only Congress, can declare war, he is 100% constitutionally correct.
None of this 15 year "authorization to use force" bullshit.

Wars cost money, and need taxes to fund them. "Force" does not require money, so the GOP can cut taxes on the wealthy. And the Democrats can claim that they did not take our country to war against weaker states, by calling it "Force".
