I don't do Facebook so I don't know if the figure comps and sales have migrated over there - if not it seems a bit much to ask someone to pay for this out of their own pocket. If we could get the Spam sorted I'd be happy to chip in a few quid - but I guess it needs more than a domain and a few homeless wanderers.

We need some sculptors and painters and gamers back.

In most cases, a moderator would only need to delete some accounts that are spamming the most and a big part of the problem would be dealt with.

The Doc seems to paying for the domain each year. It renews each May. I wonder if he'll pay for renewal this year!

You're one of the few making regular posts off the Froth Pot -- I say keep it up -- maybe it will pump some life in the old bitch.

I'll try to come up with something or other too -- though several of my attempts have yielded little or no response. Probably because I'm fucking boring.

If there is any admins watching and thinking this way I'd just like to say I really like Frothers and hope you start deleting the spam again soon, it's a pain in the arse as is, but before the recent flood of spam it was a great site and I hope it goes on operating indefinitely.
So pull your finger out!
The net's gone to shit with vanilla, politeness enforced BS, making this amazing little site the best miniatures and games forum on it, so whoever has been keeping it spam free over the years please don't give up now!

I can't help feeling that some sort of arrangement to upkeep the place has come to an end with the passing of the last decade, but the Frothers community still has life in it, please don't let us down!
If it was you Captain of Ark B. keeping this site going, thank you for the good work and please start doing it again (has anyone tried Private Messaging him?)

God knows why the keys to the site weren't passed on years ago to new caretakers if the old ones have lost interest, we would have no doubt have kept a lot of good posters who stuck it out for years, but with a bit of love I'm sure this site would come alive again. It's amazing that we still get manufacturers posting their goods considering the state the site is in, it shows that this site must have some sort of inexplicable appeal.
Don't let it die!

There are still the gaming areas, mostly unaffected -- so far.

But Bill doesn't care about gaming anyway.

The bots seem to be replying to themselves anyway.

A Frother overlord - not a God maybe, but close - told me about three years ago it was nearly all over - I suppose to a God three years is nothing, but to lesser mortals those three years were quite good fun.

Shame its dribbling into the sand like this.

Nah, ignore them. Or join in.

New question: I've been adhering to the "Do Not Reply to Spam!" rule, like a good little boy, because "it makes it harder to remove".

That made sense, when it was being removed, but it now seems the Frothergods no longer care.

So, should I give in to temptation, or live in hope?

Or it could be like a digital Sixth Sense, and you too are a bot. :D
