'Sometimes it's hard to be OFM
Giving Bill your love despite bein’ banned
You'll have bad times
And he'll have good times
Doin' things that you don't understand
But if you love him you'll forgive him
Even though he's Grotesquely Fat
And if you love him oh be proud of him
'Cause after all he's just a Twat'

To be honest, when you turned up here in the torn nightie and tear streaked mascara, it was traumatic for everyone.
On the bright side you have the makings of a country & western song there

That was after her best friend drove off in her pickup truck with her man AND his dog. He has an excuse.

Tango still misses the OFM. Maybe the dog should be called "Tango" in the song?

You have the stifle… you have the ignore… you have the name of each fellow member below each new thread in the front page (I know you are new here).. you know that from a while… I didn't post new threads on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays ( Saturday soon)… but it's not enought… maybe capital flourescence letter with "WARNING -TANGO" in each forum?… (smile)

Anyway, thank you very much to all the good friends who have always supported me and continue with it … and as my good and dear Mentor … John the OFM said (Oh! I miss you so much)… in the end … it's all about me! …

Who says there’s no humor on TMP?
Flashman 4’s reply is great.

Marty Robbins toyed with “torn nightie and tear streaked mascara” but it didn’t scan with the tune he was working on.
He tried instead “A white sports coat and a pink carnation”. It changed the whole song, I think for the better.

Hey. Some sad cunt went and registered “Winnie” and “Winnie the OFM”.
Really? Is that your best use of time?

His contempt for historians who haven't 'served' seems to suggest he has however been possessed by the spirit of Ralph.

Go easy on the gingerman! 0;)

He was part of the bitching trio who hounded The OFM around the last poll...

IIRC, Forczyk is friends with Kiley and I recall a kerfuffle on a Napoleonic forum over Terry Crowdy's response to Forczyk's Amazon review: Crowdy didn't like the review, suggesting that maybe his criticism is due to a possible past lady friend of Forcyzk's running off with a re-enactor, leading to Kiley notifying the critic and him making an appearance on that thread. :loopy:

Here's one of his responses to a reviewer: good narrative but lousy support...
'Lord Hoot', if you can see improvements in the Osprey series then please write some titles. I am finishing my 4th for Osprey, Mr. Sheppard has done 1, you have 0.

The map/crease problem is Osprey's, not Mr. Sheppard's. Authors are bound to follow the format. Also, the photograph issue plagues all of the ancient and medieval titles - you simply can't get enough illustrations to fill the volume (requirement is for 80) and most authors resort to terrain shots. If you could also invent a time machine in your spare blah-blah time, please go back to 48 BC and take some nice digital shots of Caesar and Pompey, would you?

He hounded me/us?
I’m glad someone has taken the time and effort to remember my traducers.
