How does the viewing and voting work on Cmon?

I've had this on Cmon since the end of March

and it has received 88 views and 20 votes, while this goblin has been on since last week

and has received 318 views and 54 votes. Confused

This isn't about the scoring or anything, it's just that I've started posting on Cmon to get feedback, which i'm not getting because no-one is viewing them.

It seems unless you're a 'celeb' on there, that people are content to mark one as '5' and move on. Or is that just what people do with mine? Very Happy

By the way, what colours did you use for the bases for your barbars?

It's not the scoring or voting that i'm asking about Chris, it's the viewings. When I look at Cmon I tend to vote or click on next and the next random image comes up. If that is how most people view the site, then how come one figure gains over 300 viewins in a week while another gets less than a hundred in over a month? Do a lot of people only look at certain painters or manufacturers? I have noticed that I often get the same minis popping up on Cmon (not neccessarily high scoring ones either).

Yeah that is weird, i don't know I'm afraid. I know I often look at a particular mini or manufacturer's minis when looking for a colourscheme, so maybe it depends what the flavour of the month is. Perhaps that explains a Rackham fig's popularity over a Celtos one?

Or that could be bollocks.

Crying or Very sad What has happened to us my little chunkster?
We never used to bicker like this, remember our moonlit walks in the park? Hand in hand on our way to the public toilets. Well at least we'll always have margate.

On CMON, I think you need to be in with the in crowd just like Femidom said

It's because some sad tosser can't stop logging in and looking at their own miniature over and over 300 times in a row Wink

Pete, I hope you're happy that you've made so many Eastern European women cry into their vodka. Or if you're Alexi-Z, fly into a rage at the temerity of anyone questioning her. Argue
