Sculpting badly is not a style. _________________ *Sig deleted because it hurt the CHAIR's feelings* |

Why are you such an annoying person, Dawn? What is it in your life that requires you to come onto these boards, day after day, and be the object of scorn?
Your opinions are almost universally derided, and yet you somehow insist on giving them anyway?
What is worse, you have retreated into a sort of defensive offense, perhaps because you assume that dishing out your own brand of vitriol is going to get you in with the lads. You assume a position of moral and intellectual superiority that is wretchedly laughable to watch. What are you thinking about when you make comments like the one about "High Fantasy being a division of fantasy fiction"? What point do you THINK you are making?
I wish you would find some other hobby, luv, because this one does not appear to suit your...er...needs.

I have to agree with Marquis, time to change your rag Dawn.
The sculpting is apparently done purposely like the size. The market will determine success and Ramshackle is happy with his efforts. You're beating a dead horse.
However, In the hope that Ramshackle Curtis may decide from customer feedback to release a smaller range to cover those post apocalyptic settings where overly large bikes are not part of the setting, here's some comparison pics that show why I likely won't be able to use the 4 bikes with legs that I'd previously purchased, unless of course I lose my entire 28mm collection and I turn to collecting 35mm or 1/48 Sci-fi figures.
Mongoose plastic mobile infantry on Legions of Steel Fantasian quad (conversion) and Westwind biker gang bike with incomplete rider body. I'd imagine the Mongoose MI would look fine on the Ramshackle bike legs, but the bike iteself will still tower over everything else I have.
Original plastic beakie marine, Hasslefree Sci-fi adventurer, Mongoose Judge on Lawmaster.
Figures L to R are Mongoose Judge, GW/Citadel Rogue Trader range, EM-4 Pre-Paint, Mongoose plastic ganger, Hasslefree unpainted, Grenadier Future Wars biker, GW/Citadel Rogue Trader range. Bikes are I-Kore/Void? and Westwind unpainted.
Note that I placed the small bikes in the foreground where they should look bigger and the big bikes in the background where they should look smaller...
Is it time for a 1/35 scale Puma joke yet? _________________ It is. And it is not. When it is, and when it is not, is the question or the answer, or both or neither. |

Thick, aren't you?
He called something high fantasy that wasn't.
A bit too complex for you was it? _________________ *Sig deleted because it hurt the CHAIR's feelings* |

What shit. His Scale is all over the shop, his anatomy is rubbish, the finish on his minis is disgraceful. If he does this purposefully it's pathetic. _________________ *Sig deleted because it hurt the CHAIR's feelings* |

Er... and that is my point, luv. Your response to everything is to try, laughably, to stick the boot in. It is a shame that you just aren't very good at it. So the guy called his genre "High Fiction" and you thought you would be the Frothers equivalent of John the OFM, by attacking the words, ignoring the point behind them, and but not actually adding anything to the conversation.
Perhaps you should head o over to PMT. They like people like you over there. _________________ خلق الله أراكيس لتدريب المؤمنين |

I think my last sentence in that post was clear enough. _________________ *Sig deleted because it hurt the CHAIR's feelings* |

I am surprised he is getting slamed so badly, I have just been looking at his store and some of his stuff is pretty cool, quirky and original.
